**Friends...Just a friendly reminder to new poppy growers...It is now May and the warm weather is here, which means the short planting window we have each spring has closed for most zones in the Northern Hemisphere. Poppies are a cool-season flower that can only be grown in spring, as they require cold temperatures for seed germination and seedling survival.
