***Friends...It is now May, which means the short window of time we have each year to sow our poppy seeds has come to a close for most zones. By this time, those of us in the Northern Hemisphere should already have our seeds planted by now. (Ours have been in the ground since early March [zone 6b]). If you sow poppy seeds in May on, your germination rates may be lower/slower, and your plants will be much smaller than had you sown in early spring. Please keep this in mind if you choose to order, as there is also about a 2 week average shipping time for most places that needs to be factored in as well (unless you're also in Canada). We would not advise sowing seeds any later than April, in any zone, in the Northern Hemisphere. We just want to make sure newer growers are aware of this to avoid dissapointing results. Early spring planting is the key to big, beautiful poppies! The bottom half of the world is next up for poppy season! Australia and New Zealand LET'S GOO!!🙌🏼🇦🇺🇳🇿🌱🌸
